LABTT Makes an Appearance at the International Conference on Advanced Steel Materials, Comprehensive Intelligent Inspection Solutions Attract Attention
2025-12-26
Recently, the International Conference on Advanced Steel Materials (ICAS 2025) was grandly held in Shanghai. The conference focused on the application and innovation of artificial intelligence in the steel industry, proposing a new paradigm of "Product-Oriented AI" aimed at promoting the deep intelligent integration of material research and development with manufacturing processes.

LABTT was invited to attend the conference and showcased multiple advanced metallographic sample preparation and hardness testing devices on site. We extensively exchanged insights on the application practices of LABTT's intelligent inspection technology at the forefront of materials science. This participation not only demonstrated the company's inherent technical strength but also injected new momentum into the continuous advancement of automation and intelligence in sample preparation and analysis technology.
Fully Automatic Metallographic Microscope
LABTT's fully automatic research-grade metallographic microscope is widely used for various inspection needs in industries such as materials and electronics. It employs a newly designed infinity-corrected achromatic optical system, supporting multiple observation modes including bright field, dark field, polarized light, and differential interference contrast. It features automatic sample stage raising/lowering, automatic focusing, automatic platform movement, and automatic turret functions. Furthermore, the microscope is equipped with an ECO infrared sensing system that automatically turns the power off or on when the user leaves or returns, effectively saving energy.

Automatic Photocuring Cold Mounting Machine
The automatic photocuring cold mounting machine exhibited this time utilizes dual-wavelength combinations: 365+395nm (395+450nm, 365+450nm optional). The three-level brightness for each wavelength can be set independently. All six surfaces—top, bottom, left, right, front, and back—are equipped with surface light sources and reflective films, ensuring uniform illumination and higher curing efficiency. Simultaneously, the innovative low-temperature mode ensures the temperature during the sample mounting process does not exceed 50 degrees Celsius, solving the thermal damage issues associated with traditional hot mounting.

Intelligent Vickers Hardness Tester
LABTT's star product, the intelligent Vickers hardness tester, has the light source, camera, focusing mechanism, and force switching device all built-in. It features one-click automatic rapid focusing, eliminating the need for manual positioning. A new algorithm enables precise measurement of indentations on non-smooth or scratched surfaces. It adopts an optical cross-rail lifting mechanism and an automatic anti-collision device. The equipped ultra-high precision X/Y stage has a repeat positioning accuracy as high as 1 micron, ensuring the stability and accuracy of hardness test data.

The ICAS 2025 event was not only a concentrated showcase of cutting-edge industry technologies but also marked the beginning of a new development stage for materials science driven by intelligent technology. Looking to the future, LABTT will continue to delve deeply into the field of material analysis and inspection, contributing core strength through sustained independent innovation to the upgrading of the global steel and materials industry.
