A strong alliance! LABTT and Shanghai University (Zhejiang) Research Institute jointly build a joint laboratory for material testing

On July 8, 2025, the strategic cooperation between LABTT and Shanghai University (Zhejiang) High-end Equipment Basic Parts Materials Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Shangshan Institute") ushered in an important milestone - the "Materials Testing Joint Laboratory" was officially unveiled, marking the official launch of the in-depth cooperation between the two parties in the field of high-end materials testing. On the same day, Lai Jianming, Executive Vice President of Shangshan Institute, Liu Tengshi, Director of the Analysis and Testing Center, Zhang Yanyong, Director of the Office, and Xu Jing, a teacher from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Shanghai University, and other representatives came to LABTT to attend the unveiling ceremony.
Amidst warm applause, Mr. Zhang Liqiu, founder and general manager of LABTT, and Mr. Lai Jianming, vice president of Shangshan Institute, jointly unveiled the "Materials Testing Joint Laboratory".
As the red curtain slowly opened, the gilded nameplate shone brightly under the light, marking the official launch of the strategic cooperation between the two parties. This important moment not only symbolizes the collaborative innovation of industry, academia and research to a new height, but also builds an important bridge for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, laying a solid foundation for subsequent in-depth cooperation in the fields of intelligent detection technology research and development, high-end talent training, and industry standard formulation. The guests present witnessed this milestone moment together and are full of expectations for the future development of the laboratory.
During the visit, the representatives of Shangshan Institute focused on visiting the unmanned laboratory series independently developed by LABTT. Among them, the unmanned metallographic sample preparation laboratory and unmanned hardness laboratory became the focus of the whole event with their intelligent and high-precision technical advantages.
During the visit, the representatives expressed high appreciation for LABTT's rich products in the field of hardness and metallography, pointing out that its products are diverse in types and comprehensive in functions, and can cover various application scenarios of material testing.
Mr. Zhang from LABTT introduced the company's latest research and development achievements to the delegation in detail, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the application prospects of intelligent detection technology. The delegation highly recognized LABTT's innovative practices and believed that its technological breakthroughs provided a practical solution for the industry's intelligent upgrade.
Afterwards, the two sides held a special symposium on the joint laboratory for materials testing. Mr. Zhang of LABTT first delivered a speech: LABTT focuses on the research and development of high-precision material testing equipment, and its unmanned metallographic sample preparation laboratory, unmanned hardness testing system and other technologies have achieved industry breakthroughs. As a key scientific and technological innovation project in Jiashan County, Shangshan Institute will provide high-end material basic research support for the laboratory. This cooperation also marks an important step in the deep integration of industry, academia and research.
Vice President Lai of Shangshan Institute highly praised Naibo's technological innovation achievements in the field of unmanned and intelligent testing equipment, and expressed that the cooperation between the two sides will continue to deepen. In the future, relying on LABTT's advanced intelligent testing equipment, we will jointly promote the innovation and upgrading of material testing technology and establish a long-term and stable strategic partnership.
Director Liu of the Analysis and Testing Center of Shangshan Institute also fully affirmed LABTT's technological innovation and product development. He said that the two sides can carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of material failure analysis in the future, and jointly explore cutting-edge solutions in the industry by leveraging their respective technical expertise.
Through in-depth technical exchanges and collision of ideas, the two sides reached a number of consensuses on the direction of joint innovation and development. The on-site interaction was warm and fruitful.
The establishment of this joint material testing laboratory will give full play to the advantages of LABTT in testing equipment research and development and Shanghai University Research Institute in basic material research, jointly promote the upgrading of testing technology and the formulation of industry standards for basic parts of high-end equipment, and promote the high-quality development of the industry into a new stage.
