In the steel industry, the quality of metallographic sample preparation is directly related to the accuracy of material property assessment and analysis. However, traditional metallographic sample preparation relies on manual labor, resulting in low efficiency and poor consistency. The system automatically identifies samples and delivers them to the grinding and polishing station, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The equipment offers continuous processing, high efficiency and stability. In a single run, it can automatically complete the entire grinding, polishing, cleaning, and drying process for multiple samples, significantly improving sample preparation efficiency and making it particularly suitable for the batch processing needs of steel mills.

Automatic switching between 20 types of grinding and polishing media easily handles complex processes.

Different steel samples require varying grinding and polishing techniques. The LABTT system breaks through the limitations of traditional equipment by automatically switching between 20 types of sandpaper/polishing cloths, covering the entire grinding and polishing process from rough grinding to fine polishing. Four polishing fluids are dispensed on demand, precisely adapting to different material processing requirements.

Additionally, the LABTT system offers exceptional compatibility for large-scale specimens commonly encountered in steel mills, such as long products and plates, and can handle specimens up to 200 mm in length, ensuring stable clamping and uniform grinding and polishing.
